Abstract:
In general for a system, it is easy to detect an object as removed when people blocking the object. Thus, classification between occlusion event and removal event can increase the accuracy and performance of the detection. Edge descriptor is applied in event classification because it can draw the outline of the object, this can let the system easily detects the events. The system will also finds out the person who trigger the event in the scene. Besides that, the system able to detect and keep track moving object in the scene.

Biography:
Yung Joon is a Computer Science graduate from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in year 2010. His Final Year project related to multimedia learning application for children, which greatly benefits the slow learning children in following the learning pace. Right after he graduated, he enrolled in a UTAR Science Fund research project as Project Research Assistant, where he in charge of developing a framework used to detect and recognize suspicious person through behavioural analysis. Upon completing the research project, he furthers his studies at UTAR as a postgraduate student under the Master of Computer Science programme.
