MICHAEL OH HONG CHOON - Chair of Vistage Malaysia

MICHAEL OH HONG CHOON - Co-Chairs the KEY-11 group of direct reports of CEOs and he also personally facilitates the unique VCE-19 Group comprising CEO members of international mix representing various European nationalities and Malaysians.

He has successfully held positions at CEO levels in London, Hong Kong and the Philippines. In addition, he has solid background and skills in corporate banking and investment banking as Chief Advisor at Malayan United Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur and NZI Securities (Australia) Limited in Sydney. Michael Oh thus brings along with him wide ranging global corporate experience and expertise into the Vistage Chair position.

After graduating with double honours in Economics and History at the University of Malaya in 1964, Michael Oh began a distinguished career with the Industrial Development Division, Ministry of Trade & Industry, as Assistant Controller and eventually as Divisional Director of the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority of the Government of Malaysia.

Michael Oh was formerly the Chief Advisor-Asia Pacific of MRI Worldwide Sdn Bhd. Management Recruitment International (MRI) is the world’s largest franchise executive search corporation based in the United States of America. He is currently a Chair with Vistage Malaysia, affiliate of Vistage International, the world’s leading CEO membership organization dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of Chief Executives & Business Owners.

Dato’ Ghazali bin Dato Mohamed Yusoff - Executive Chairman of Nusantara Technologies

Dato’ Ghazali bin Dato Mohamed Yusoff (Ghaz) was born in Malacca on 13 January 1946 and graduated from the University of Malaya in 1968, majoring in Economics and Geography.He then had a career in a multinational, Dunlop Malaysia, until he resigned as General Manager in 1981.Thereafter, he joined Arab-Malaysian Development Bank as its Group Chief Executive until 1983.

He then decided to be an entrepreneur and has, since then, been the Executive Chairman of Nusantara Technologies till now. He is also in other civil society organisations as the founding member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Malaysia (BCSDM) (1992) as its Honorary Executive Director and as the President of Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation (MCR), a non-governmental organisation dealing with the welfare and development of the disabled community.

Ghaz sits on a number of government agency bodies such as the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) and the National Standards Committee for ISO 1400 and related standards.He is also active in the field of education and values development for the country.

Ms Chook Yuh Yng – Country Manager of JobStreet.com Malaysia

Ms Chook Yuh Yng is the Country Manager of JobStreet.com, Malaysia Operations. She is in charge of the Business Operations in Malaysia, including the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Departments; all the time ensuring that JobStreet.com Malaysia uphold the mission of “Improving Lives Through Better Careers”.

Prior to JobStreet.com, she has spent over 10 years in the ICT industry where she was involved in diverse roles including Pre Sales, Sales Management, Project Management as well as IT Operations management. Ms Chook previously graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master of Engineering.

Ms Siti Aishah Md Lassim - Chief Human Resource Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad

Ms Siti Aishah Md Lassim is the Chief Human Resource Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad, Malaysia’s National Bourse. She first started her career in management consulting and later moved into HR in the financial markets, through the span of 20 years.

Throughout her career in HR, she focused on the strategic as well as operational aspects of Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Relations and Talent Management. Prior to joining Bursa, she was the Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate HR in Maybank Group. During her career in Human Resource, she has achieved the following recognition:

2009 Asia HRD Congress Award – Contribution to HR Community

2007 Led Maybank to win the Prime Minister’s Best Workplace Practices – Honourable Mention

In addition to the above, in 2008, Ms Siti Aishah has recently been elected to be the Chairman of the HR Networking Committee of the Malaysian Banking Institute (IBBM). She also served as the final panel of judges for Malaysian HR Awards (2007).

Ms Siti Aishah holds an MSc and BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A & M University, USA. She is also certified in Hogan and Lominger Assessments Tools.
