Project Title

Video Surveillance System with Demographics Classification

Job Description

• To develop software for video surveillance system with demographics classification.
• To assist the project leader in all works associated with the research.
• Opportunity to be involved in software prototype development of application involving computer vision, image processing and machine learning.
• Gain exposure to cutting edge technologies- AI (deep learning), GPU, Open Source. 
• The RA may register for Master's degree by research with UTAR.
• Remuneration of RM2000-2500 per month for up to 12 months (can be extended up to another 12 months subject to satisfactory performance).

Requirements

• Passionate in computer programming, with good mathematical foundations
• Strong interest and/or has working experience in computer vision/image processing/machine learning projects.
• Good English written and verbal communication
• Good analytical skills, self-motivated, requires minimal supervision, resourceful and willing to learn.
• Vacancy is available starting from 1 April 2015.
