Enclosed herewith is the asbtract for the talk.

Abstract:
Econometrics and financial activities are the main determinants of the
wealth of nations. The current situation in economic recession in the
world in general, and in Malaysia in particular surely making one
feels frivolously. Despite the leading Economists and Government tried
hard to pacify the situation in the last couple of years, the economic
recession force showed no abating sign, and actually in Malaysia  it
gets serious day by day. The failure, on one hand was due to the
misinterpreted of the root causes and hence the remedy prescribed to
it wrong, on the other hand even if the economic recession was
thwarted, it will somehow, like those cut but un-rooted grasses, grow
again in the next Spring.
The hypothesis in this talk is that the economic recession could be
explained by the help of detailed understanding of the nature and
causes of wealth in digital economics. A proposal is to add, if not to
replace the conventional production factors, three additional
production factors Information, Communication, and Technologies into
the econometric matrix. The characteristics of these three digital
economic production factors, pole apart from the traditional Keynesian
Law and the invisible hand, have been peeked at.  To solve the
economic recession crisis is, therefore in short, through scrutinizing
Information, Communication, and Technologies with the prudence and
foresight of the management of the firm and of Government.
